Policies

Turnaround

Standard turnaround is 15 business days from the time we have an approved order, payment in full, and we have all information required to complete your order (all artwork, working / correct tags, all fonts required for editable tags, all shipping info, etc.). Delay in receipt of *any* of this info can/will result in production delays. Delay in approval of mock ups can/will also result in production delays. Some printing styles and add-on services will add to the standard turnaround time. If you have a deadline for your order, it is very important that you let us know when placing your order and a rush fee may apply to orders needing quicker turnaround. Fuel’d Apparel and Design will not be responsible for missing deadlines because of weather conditions, power supply interruptions, vendor shortages and errors, shipping errors or acts of God. If we expect or foresee any problems coming, we’ll be sure to let you know and work with you to rectify the situation.

Payment

All orders must have 100% payment in order to be considered a submitted order and begin your turnaround. We accept cash, check, Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Pay Pal. If you pay via check, the turn around time clock on your order will not begin until your check clears our bank account. If we only collect a portion of the due amount at the time of ordering, the remaining order balance is due to pickup or ship the order. This policy is subject to change at Fueld’s discretion.

Proposals

The prices in proposals are good for 14 days, unless otherwise stated.

Minimums

We do not have minimums for most of our decoration procedures, however some of our processes may be subject to a minimum order.

Artwork

All files must be vector format. Text must be converted to outlines. Printing can only be as good as the artwork. Fuel’d will not be responsible for poor quality printing due to poor artwork. Fuel’d is not responsible for any misspellings, errors, or issues in your art file. We do our best to catch these errors and point them out to you, but we do not catch them all. If it is in your art file and on your approval, that is how we will print it. If you do not have a vector file, we will vectorize your file for $40 per hour and we will provide the file to you for future use.

Art Approval

All artwork is to be approved via a digital mock-up through our proposals. Artwork must be checked for spelling, color, sizes ordered, placement of the art and accuracy of artwork by the customer. It is very important to look over every detail of the mockup, as this is how your garments will print. Fuel’d will not accept responsibility for corrections not implemented and/or requested after artwork approval. Any modifications requested after customer approval will result in production delays and additional expenses for which the client will be invoiced accordingly. Any delays in the approval process longer than 24 hours after receipt of the mockup can/will result in production delays.

Printing

All shirt sizes in an order will have the same image size unless otherwise requested. Different image sizes being printed on different shirt sizes will be treated as a new order and priced as a new order. Image size printed within 1.5 inches of any seam are subject to distortion, print inconsistencies and/ or other small inconsistencies. These are all considered acceptable goods and Fuel’d will not assume responsibility for print imperfections due to printing too close to seams. The color settings of your computer monitor and that of the printing press may be different, so variations of the on-screen mockup and printed piece will differ slightly. Image size and placement may also differ slightly, as the product image ratios don’t always match the garment exactly. We do not offer exact color matching unless requested specifically before the order is placed. Fuel’d will not assume responsibility for slight color or placement discrepancies.

Specific Measurements when Printing

Even though Fueld’s printers have many years of experience, there is no way to effectively and efficiently measure a distance from the collar on each shirt as each garment is loaded onto the press by hand. If you request a shirt that is 2′ down from the collar, we will use that as a guide and do our best to make sure that all shirts hit that target, but not all shirts will hit exactly at 2′ , they may be off by as much as an inch in either direction. This will not be considered a misprint and Fuel’d will not reprint or refund these shirts.

Under/Over Run Allowance

Custom printing is an artform, especially when it comes to water based and discharge inks. We do our very best to deliver, at minimum, the ordered quantity for each and every size on your order. However, printing mistakes happen, screens break on press, shirts arrive with holes or stains from the manufacturer. For that reason, we have an under/over run allowance. This is simply an acceptable margin of error.
All orders within the Under/Over Run Allowance of the ordered quantity will be considered acceptable for delivery. For this reason, we highly recommend you order extra garments for each size. Fuel’d will not be responsible for profit loss on under runs. If requested, in the event of an under run greater than our Under/Over Run Allowance, we will reprint the remaining quantity. Fuel’d will not, at any time, be responsible for any lost profits on items shorted from your order. (ex: If you paid $6.50 per shirt to get the shirt printed, but you sell them for $25.00, Fuel’d is only responsible for the $6.50 you would have paid us for the shirt).

Standard & Oversize: 3%

Rush Orders

Orders that require an in-hands date sooner than our standard turnaround time (per the order specs and services) are subject to rush fees. Our standard rush fee is $50 or 10% of the order total, whichever is greater.

Shipping

Fuel’d cannot be responsible for any shipping delays caused by the shipping company.

Stock Issues

All of the items put into proposals have been checked and verified to be in stock at that time, however those stock numbers change quickly and items may sell before order approval. Please approve your order as quickly as possible to help avoid this situation. If items sell out before the order is approved, we will provide substitutions unless otherwise advised. Substitutions will be like material, weight, style, quality, and price point. Premium brands (i.e. Under Armour, North Face, GameSportswear, Carhartt, Eddie Bauer, etc.) will NOT be substituted without first sending you alternate options to choose from. If your Premium Brand is out of stock, you will be contacted to ask if you would like to wait for the item to come back in stock or if you would like to choose an alternate option.

Social Sharing

We’re super stoked to be able to print for you. With that said, we want to show them off once they’re finished. It’s a great way for us to show our skills and send some of our fans your way. We like to do so by taking pictures and posting on them on places lnstagram, Facebook, etc. If you are not comfortable with your shirt being photographed and shared by us, please let your account manager know when you place your order. If you do not notify us, we will assume we have your full permission to post a photo of your shirt(s).

Garment Disclaimer

Fuel’d is not responsible for manufacturer defects such as color inconsistencies, stitching errors, mislabeled garments, loose/inconsistent stitching, and/or garment defects (holes in garments, ripped seams, etc.). We try our hardest to inspect the garments as we print them, but we cannot guarantee each garment. We are not the manufacturers of these garments, so we cannot ensure their construction. We highly recommend ordering 5% extra of each size if an exact count is important. Some manufacturers over-dye their garments. Over-dying is the process of re-dying a garment after it’s initial manufacturing period. This is done for any number of reasons, including color correction, clearing out of colors that didn’t sell (purple shirts aren’t selling so the manufacturer dyes them black to sell them as black shirts), etc. Because of this factor, Fuel’d cannot 100% guarantee exact color consistency on coloring.

Satisfaction Clause

Fuel’d will not be responsible for your satisfaction with the garments printed on or the printed artwork. We are always available to counsel any customer to ensure you pick a garment that matches your needs, but we also need you to do your due diligence on the garment choice. If you are unsure of what garment to select, we can gladly order blank samples for you to choose from. The samples will be billed at a per piece rate and given to you without printing. We will credit blank samples to the final total of your order. Samples not used will be subject to a 30% restocking fee and the shipping cost to send them back. Not all our suppliers allow samples to be returned, so those items will not be credited to your order.

Quality Assurance

We try to check every garment as it comes off of the press, but there are times where some mistakes will make it out the door. It is your responsibility as the customer to check over garments as you receive them. We allow an industry standard 72 hour window from the time you receive the goods to notify us of any issues with the order. Fuel’d will not be responsible for errors with your order if notified after 72 hours of receiving the goods. Fuel’d also will not be responsible for any lost income, customers, accounts, and/or contracts if defective garments are sent out to your final customer. While Fuel’d does quality checks on the garments, the final quality assurance check lies in the hands of you, our customer.

Refunds/Returns

No refunds will be issued once the items are purchased from our supplier and/or production or any manipulation of the garments (tag removal, printed tags, printing, hem tagging, etc.) has begun on the order. Cancellations made after the order has been placed will be subject to a 30% restocking fee plus any additional fees required to cover shipping and/or services already rendered. Our refund/return policy is subject to change based on the return/refund policy offered by the supplier from which the items were ordered. FUEL’D reserved the right to change this policy on a situational basis.

Claims & Reprints

We go to great lengths to try to ensure that every order that leaves our facility is correct. All of our customers are valued customers, regardless of size, and we want you all to know that. Any order printed differently than the mock-up approved will be granted a reprint of the defective product. All claims must be submitted within 72 hours of date of delivery. If Fuel’d is responsible for any errors in your order, we will gladly accept responsibility for the issues and will reprint the shirts printed in error. We do not offer refunds, but will gladly reprint any production errors that exceed the spoilage rate. We will require that you return the misprinted shirts back to our shop. Fuel’d will not be responsible for any shirts sold or given away prior to returning the order.
